1v1 Rules
Win by reaching 15 victory points. On a 7, discard half only when holding more than 9 resource cards. Friendly robber protects players with fewer than 3 public victory points: the robber cannot be placed on tiles touching their towns or cities, and steal is skipped when there is no eligible target.
Goal
Reach the victory point target on your turn. Points come from towns, cities, development cards, longest road, and largest army.
Setup
Players place two towns and two roads. The second town gives starting resources from adjacent non-desert tiles.
Turn
Roll dice, collect production, then trade, build, and optionally play one development card bought on an earlier turn.
Production
Each tile with the rolled number produces its resource for adjacent towns and cities. Towns collect one card; cities collect two.
Seven And Robber
On a 7, players over the discard limit discard half rounded down. Move the robber, block that tile, and steal one random card from an eligible adjacent opponent.
Trading
Trade with the bank at 4:1, at ports for 3:1 or matching 2:1 rates, or make any mutually agreed trade with another player on your turn.
Building
Road: Lumber and Brick. Town: Lumber, Brick, Wool, and Grain. City: 3 Ore and 2 Grain. Development card: Ore, Wool, and Grain.
Development Cards
Play at most one development card per turn, and not on the turn you bought it. Knights move the robber. Road Building places two roads. Year of Plenty takes two resources. Monopoly names one resource and takes all copies from opponents. Victory point cards stay hidden until they win the game.
Placement
Roads connect to your road network. Towns must connect to your road and be at least two edges away from every other town or city.
Bonuses
Longest road is 2 points for the first player with at least five continuous roads. Largest army is 2 points for the first player with at least three played knights.
